JANN BASKETT, Chief Brand Officer, SXSW


Jann Baskett is SXSW's chief brand officer, where she leads all brand and marketing activities for the company, best known for its conference and festivals that celebrate the convergence of the interactive, film, and music industries. 

Jann is also partner in an Austin-based agency called Foxtrot, that has worked with SXSW on its brand, digital user experience and interaction design since 2008. Prior to SXSW and Foxtrot, Jann was principal in another Austin branding agency, Milkshake.

Before that, she worked in creative services and marketing for several magazines, including Texas Monthly (Austin), and Details, Mademoiselle, and The New York Times Magazine Group in New York.
